How I like to teach
I like to take a holistic approach in my teaching and have a deep desire to lead you towards your own life practice of yoga. My classes are breath centric which is great for calming the nervous system. They are centered around connecting with our bodies and becoming fully present in the moment. Asanas are used to help you find ways to work with Prana, also known as life force or energy. I take you in and out of poses before holding to help determine dysfunctional moving patterns and help you get the full benefits of the pose. Savasana is used as a time of reflection and meditation. My deep desire as a yoga instructor is to help you balance your energy and find clarity of mind.
